The Church Basement Ladies on Screen!
The Church Basement Ladies musicals have been licensed in 48 states and Canada. Millions of people have fallen in love with these characters and often ask, “When are the Church Basement Ladies going to appear on screen?”

The plan is to film on location, and also on the kitchen set of the Church Basement Ladies musicals. Currently the production team is in conversations with Calvary Lutheran Church in Stanchfield, MN to use their sanctuary and fellowship hall for location shooting.
Calvary was founded in 1870 by 54 immigrant settlers of Swedish descent. Altho the congregation in our fictional church is Norwegian(!), the history of the two churches run parallel, and much of Calvary’s interior has reamined unchanged since the early 1900’s.
